Very clean. Tables are spaced out. There's also upstairs seating and outside seating. Second time being here, had the same English Breakfast and a cappuccino. Good portion size for the price as well.

My dad, Eric Bell, was a customer for years even after his wife, Jean, died in 2012. The staff and customers are always friendly. Sad to say, Eric has himself now passed away.
Beat cafe about been coming here over a decade. Great hot chocolates breakfasts, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. They actually give you two nice quality sausages in a sausage sandwich which is rare these days and if you eat in you always get salad too

Really like this place. No fuss. Good service and food. Prefer seating upstairs so it's easy to forget where you are while eating lunch. Favourite is cheese and mushroom omelette. Good size portions.
